PHP / Facebook Developer

Information about the position

We are looking for self-reliant external PHP/HTML/JS + Facebook developers who will work together with our team members to deliver an IT (web) projects to our (mainly US) clients on time and on budget.

We can cooperate on external basis - you will be a freelancer working for us per project, or IF YOU ARE REALLY GOOD then we will be happy if you become a part of our internal team   and work in/house and full-time.

General Responsibilities

Developer needs to understand core technologies, needs to be flexible and quick learner. Dev needs to follow and adapt Lead’s approach. They need to comment their work, strive to write re-usable code better/faster, and follow company standards.

What we need you to do daily:
* Keep up on new trends and company direction/focus/practices.
* Learn and share best practices with his group.
* Watch for building trends. Report/discuss them with the tech lead.

Your responsibilities during Development:
* Review tasks assigned along with all supporting material.
* Responsible for completely understanding tasks and reviewing validity of their estimates (is enough time allocated? Does it make sense to build the task in this matter?).
* Discuss with Lead tasks that are not clear and figure out best approach to handle them. Keep in mind quality and time allocated for the tasks.
* Notify Lead when estimates are incorrect or missing and provide them with new/updated estimates.
* Develop given tasks utilizing existing in-house code and in-house practices.
* Responsible for testing tasks functionality under many circumstances (no values, min values, wrong values, correct values, max values).
* Responsible for fixing any issues that may cause task to behave unintentionally.
* Responsible to notify lead when task can not be completed as scheduled or as defined.
* Responsible for notifying Lead when task is completed.

Your responsibilitis during Testing:
* Responsible for fixing given issues.
* Responsible with checking that other parts of the project are not affected by the fix.

After Testing Ends:
* Report to Lead what could have been done better/faster.


    
Requirements

Language skills
English -advanced  (all our internal written communication is in english, so we need someone who can completely understand the project specifications etc.)

PHP/OOP - expert
HTML/XHTML/CSS - expert
JavaScript - expert
AJAX - advanced
Adobe Flash - basic
Facebook API
MySQL 4.0+ (optionally 5.0 -  features: views, triggers,...)

We are looking for real experts, not the ones who did one or two websites, we need someone who will be able to follow latest coding practices, learn the new things and help us to deliver the top service.

if you are a PRO but don't have a skills with FACEBOOK API - no problem, we will teach you very quickly.
